How to remove your data β€” every route, in order.

1The short answer

Pashto SMS Collection keeps everything you create on your own device. There is no account and no copy of your content on any server of ours. Uninstalling the app deletes that content permanently.

The steps below cover every remaining case, including the small amount of technical data held by Google on our behalf.

2Step 1 β€” Delete the data on your device

Delete individual items: open the app and remove the entry, photo or record you no longer want. It is erased immediately.

Delete everything at once:

  • Android: Settings β†’ Apps β†’ Pashto SMS Collection β†’ Storage β†’ Clear storage / Clear data. This wipes the app's database and files.
  • iOS: press and hold the app icon β†’ Delete App. iOS removes the app's entire sandbox with it.
  • Uninstalling the app on either platform has the same effect.

This cannot be undone and we cannot recover it for you. Export or back up anything you want to keep before you do it.

3Step 2 β€” Clear advertising & analytics data

  • Android: Settings β†’ Privacy β†’ Ads β†’ Delete advertising ID. Apps then receive only zeros and cannot link past activity to you.
  • iOS: Settings β†’ Privacy & Security β†’ Tracking β†’ turn off Allow Apps to Request to Track.
  • In the app: re-open Settings β†’ Privacy options and withdraw your advertising consent.
  • At Google: delete ad-related activity in My Activity and adjust My Ad Center.

Crash reports and analytics events expire on their own β€” see the retention table in the privacy policy. If you want us to ask Google to delete them sooner, send us the request in step 3.

4Step 3 β€” Send us a deletion request

  • We confirm receipt and complete the request within 30 days, free of charge β€” and never later than the deadline your law sets.
  • We delete: your support correspondence and any diagnostic records that can be tied to your request.
  • We keep, only where the law requires it: a minimal record that you made the request and that we answered it.
  • If we hold nothing about you at all, we will say exactly that.
